Netflix releases trailer of new Spanish thriller series about mysterious disappearance

Something terrible happens to the Martín family when their infant daughter suddenly goes missing in La chica de nieve (2023) (The Snow Girl). The mystery thriller series from Spain will be released on Netflix as early as this month. The streaming service just unveiled the first trailer ahead of its release.

Nightmare

The thriller series is set in Malaga in 2010 during the Three Wise Men parade. What should have been a magical moment soon turns into a nightmare for the Martín family when their daughter Amaya suddenly disappears in the crowd. Novice journalist Miren begins an investigation that includes Inspector Millán. They won't stop until the girl is found. Where is Amaya Martín?

Book adaptation

The lead roles are played by Alma actress Milena Smit, Warrior Nun star Tristán Ulloa, who also soon has a role in La casa de papel spin-off Berlín, and Entrevías actor Jose Coronado. The Spanish thriller series is a film adaptation of Javier Castillo's bestseller of the same name.
