'Virgin River' actor gives update on season 5: 'New things are going to happen'

Fans of Virgin River are eagerly awaiting the fifth season. Although little is known about it yet, Kai Bradbury (known in the series as Denny) gives an update on the upcoming new episodes in the podcast "Chatting with B". According to the actor, we can expect some unexpected moments.

'Best season ever'

Bradbury joined the cast in season 3 as Doc's grandson, then was found to be seriously ill in the last fourth season. A relationship with Lizzie is therefore not something that is going to happen; or will Denny have second thoughts in season 5? The actor hints at "new things" in the interview. What exactly he means by that remains unclear.

It is the best season ever and definitely heartwarming, it’s definitely gripping and it's definitely unexpected.

Meanwhile, the filming of season 5 has been completed. However, we can only speculate about a possible release date. The first two seasons appeared about a year apart, in December and November. Season 3 then went a lot faster, appearing in July 2021. Now, with season 4 in July of this year, it looks like we will have to wait another year until July 2023 for the release of season 5.
